Wall socket is not correct

Me and my sister moved house recently and we received our QuickStart kit. We got to the part where we need to connect our isolator cable to our wall socket, but we haven’t been able to find one that would fit it. The only virgin media wall socket we’ve been able to find is the one in the picture below. Can anyone help?

That's a phone socket. If there is no other socket or even a cable poking through the wall, call for a (free) manned installation.

VM phone sockets are not used for Broadband services, & as far as new customers are concerned are now obsolete, as the phone service is provided via sockets on the Broadband hub.

Check outside for a brown or grey box where the VM cable gets to the property. Cable from this will either go straight through the wall, or to other entry points in the house.

If you fail to find anything call the pre-install team on 0800 052 1734
