We’ve just received the new 360 but I haven’t set it up yet as when I went to do it, I noticed there is no facility to plug in a cable for a WiFi extender. Without one the WiFi reception is terrible in my son’s room. Is the only option to buy another tv box from virgin and if so is this easy to set up (non technical family 😳) thanks anyone 😁
There is a ethernet port on the back of the box, looks like this:
If you can't get a good WiFi signal on the box in the room it's in then you shouldnt have to get another TV box from us, just find a way to boost the signal to the room! Depending on your package from Virgin Media you might be able to get one from us, give us a call or download the Virgin Media connect app for more detail.
Thanks for this. However the old box has 4 spaces for the Ethernet cable but the new one only one. If you see the pic I’ve attached showing our blue cable for the booster to my son’s room, on the new box there is only the one space so I cannot plug in the booster. I’ve tried calling you but can’t get through to speak to anyone. With our package we’re not entitled to another box for another room but will pay for this if this is what we need.
