I set up my Virgin hub and landline recently but am having issues with the landline connection. Instructions say to connect the home phone directly to the Virgin Hub even though we have a wall connection for the landline.
However when I use my mobile to call the home phone to check if it works, the home phone does not ring. I can hear it ringing via my mobile when calling the home phone, but the home phone itself does not ring.
We switched over from BT and when I’ve fiddled with the cables, I’ve realised that when the landline is connected to the BT wall plug, it works perfectly well.
Can anyone help with this issue please?

When it rings on your mobile can you pick up the landline and answer it?

I just tried it and no, the landline does not answer the call from my mobile

Perhaps your number hasn't ported, try ringing from hub to mobile to see what number comes up
