Virgin FTTP power adapter

My power cable to the fibre is broken, there is no green light. Can I source a new one. Engineer is due in 4 days. Second time this had happened now.

Not entirely clear what you are describing but ...

If you are referring to the plug-top adapter shown in the images on this topic (which powers the fibre media converter outside)

I believe you need a tech visit to replace it. There have been more than a few lengthy pantomime topics in the past trying to get a replacement sent out from VM when, AIUI, the part is not available to send out.

Yes, that's the one and i thought that would be the answer.

It just seems such a waste of an engineer visit just to change a plug.

Is there a design fault with this device? Surely it shouldn't have failed twice, or did it suffer an accident?
