VM Not available

My house is quite far away from the road, and consequently VM shows as not being available at my address.  There is a CATV box at the end of my driveway, and neighbouring houses appear as available.   I was wondering if I installed a conduit, would VM be able to run the cable, or could I install the cable myself and get VM to connect me?
