Trying to activate V6 box but unable to get through to anyone

I assume you are trying the equipment activation number 0800 953 9500 - remember its a bank holiday weekend afternoon so there will probably even less staff than usual picking up so you will just have to persevere.

Hi Wids001,

Sorry to see you are having issues and the activation line isn't picking up.

I hope this helps. You could try speaking to  New accounts and Set Up for them to complete the setup and activation.

That would be options 1,1,1 and 4 if dialling 150 from a Virgin landline , or options 1,1,2 and 4  if dialling 0345 4541111 from any other phone

With it being a bank holiday weekend you might be better calling first thing on  a morning at 8am when lines are less busy.

The lines are open Monday to Friday, 8am until 8pm and Saturday, 8am until 6pm
