V6 box - do I need a coax to Ethernet adapter

My TiVo box is faulty and is being replaced in the next few days with a v6 box. My TiVo is connected via a coax cable but I’ve read that the v6 box doesn’t have a coax connection. Do I need a coax to Ethernet adapter? Strangely the virgin media staff member I spoke to never mentioned this!

V6 has a coax connection ( it needs a connection to your cable modem via Ethernet or wireless as it has no built in modem unlike the old TiVo boxes)

Thanks - think I’ll have to try and connect via WiFi as router is other end of the room!

Wifi will be fie as long as you have a strong and stable wifi signal at the V6 location. As its in the same room (?) as the Hub it should be fine - if not - come back here for suggestions.
