I need to cancel my Virgin Media installation which is due to happen on Monday. I've tried calling customer service but they didn't recognize the online order reference that I've got (CH2000392304) and kept asking for an account number (which I don't have yet).
I won't be moving into the address that I've requested the installation for and therefore there will not need the service setting up.
Please can someone advise how I can cancel the engineer as customer service were entirely unhelpful.
Just called that number and the option to cancel an engineer leads to a recorded message with words to the effect of "Due to COVID-19 we've had to close some call lines down. Thank you for putting up with this". The line then disconnects!
