Do service technicians check equipment when upgrading and do they carry spares if it needs replacing?
we have a technician coming tomorrow to install new tv boxes but we also think our hub needs replacing. I’ve tried calling virgin but there are long waits on the calls and no option to chat online. we are also paying £35 set up fee but they are advertising free set up until 4th feb. Who do we need to speak to to get this refunded.
The free setup is likely only for new customers, if you are upgrading it most likely doesn't apply to you.
If you hub is faulty, speak to the technician and they may be able to replace it for you.
