Unsuitable wall socket?

On installing my new hub today I'm assuming the wall socket isn't suitable 😕 live in a tower block and have a standard 4 socket wall socket. Virgin has previously been here so I am told.....I do have an engineer coming tomorrow but didn't know if perhaps it's something I've done wrong? Or whether different receiver socket I should be using........The wall socket is a fibre irs gtu quad.

Thanks 🙂

Re: Unsuitable wall socket?

Hi Tony

Thanks for the reply......It won't allow me to upload a picture, saying it exceeds allowed size. I'm giving up on this for the night and will try tomorrow and hopefully the engineer can shed some light......anything with a lead clearly not my strong point 😂 thanks again though

Re: Unsuitable wall socket?

Sounds like the flats have the latest fibre IRS system installed. This will have to be an engineer setup so that the correct kit is installed at the end of the fibre.
