Unsightly external installation

The engineer who installed my virgin broadband attached a brown box to the outside of my house, and a buff-coloured plastic cover over the hole that he drilled through the wall. The buff plastic cover is curled and did not stick properly, so I've crudely taped it down to stop water / vermin getting in. This is unsightly and a poor advertisement for Virgin. Suggestions? Maybe Virgin should send an engineer to re-fit this in a tidier way?20200909_165538.gif

Re: Unsightly external installation

You are lucky you got that cover. I just have a silicon bunged hole

These covers are not actually fixed with screws and usually are held on by the silicon that bungs up the hole that was drilled.

There was probably not enough silicon used to be able to grab it and keep it in place.
