Trying to upgrade to SH3 from SH1 (not impressed so far)

I got the SH3 out of the box read the booklet it gave me an automated 0800 number to ring, it answered and asked my my account and area ref which I answered plus my registered mobile number after that it told me I would receive a text message and to answer the text and someone would call me back. I've not received a text so stuck in Limbo!!! Not impressed!!!
