Hi, I need to know if the Virgin/the engineer will let us know a time window for when they'll arrive to install my WiFi? We have a day but will they give us am approximate time? As I can't wait in all day but I can leave work for an hour or 2 if I know when they're coming

I believe that the best they can offer is a sort of morning or afternoon slot, but even after they come, the job can take longer to complete than first thought. Realistically, you need to be prepared to schedule a date where you can take the entire day off.

Do you already have a Virginmedia cable installed from the road to your house?
I ask because if there is an existing cable they would normally send you the internal items to install yourself. If there is external cable work still to be done the dates can often be less than reliable.
