Can you enroll to test the broadband before Virgin Media goes fully live as they laid cables, cabinets etc., I think in a couple of months they will be up & running, do they have testers?

it’s been like that for about a month, still waiting, they started laying cables last May, but on some streets no cable just use Openreach ducts, I don’t think they will get tv just internet.
This is where it gets a little confusing. If the area build is within a current franchise then you will get DOCSIS RFoG services which will include broadcast TV (V360 with multiroom & recording capabilities). If it is outside the franchise network customers will get the full fibre XGS-PON hub 5x services, which will be internet & phone only, with the option to take a single Stream IPTV box.

When the RFoG network was deployed here, online orders opened about 1 month after the micro fibre ducts were deployed, there were not tester, it went direct to a production service.

Usually the customer is the tester.
You sign the contract, they connect you up, and you have 14 days to see if you want to keep it.

It doesn't matter to you what route VM use to connect you. If you have broadband you can use it for internet, TV, phone or many other purposes.

Thanks, I’ve had an email from Virgin yesterday to tell me Virgin Media services are now available in my area, when putting my post code in I can only get broadband, no tv 360 or landline, I can get Virgin Stream, I’ll go for that
Does VoIP work with Virgin Router?

If VM's TV offering is not enough you can use another TV service, like Sky Q.

Yes I’ve got Sky Q & Apple TV, which we use all the time more than Q
