HI all. I switched to Virgin media recently but I wasn't know that needed a coaxial socket for the router.

I booked an appointment with a technician for a coaxial socket installment but seems that it can be possible on next Monday.is there any chance to have  assistance for that sooner than 1 week?  Did I really pay for a internet week without having the chance to use it?

There should be no charge until your hub is activated.

The fact is,  when the hub is considered as active? 'cause if I do troubleshoot, the router is considered without issue and able to work.

If its not connected to the co-ax and therefore not to the VM network then you should not be charged until that happens.

Yes it happens when the hubs MAC address is register on the VM system as being active and of course this cannot happen until it’s connect to the VM coax from the street box.
