Swapping to a Different Hub

Hey, all.  I just moved house, and during the changeover, Virgin sent me out a "new" hub.

The "new" hub is a Hub3, but the one from my old house (the one I was asked to bring with me) is a Hub5.

Doing what I was told to do in the welcome pack, I plugged the "new" Hub3 in, but am now wondering if I oughta have plugged in the Hub5..

Since it's still here... .. Should I plug the Hub5 in?  Or is the network going to complain that I've switched routers?  How easy/safe is it to just swap them around?  I don't want to try it incase something breaks, so if anyone's done this, already, please let me know if it's ok to do so.

Thanks for any advice.

Hey Jaynekai, thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community.

I personally would use the one they have sent you to your new house as this would be registered to work there.

The old one will be registered to the old address and therefore wouldn't work. Cheers
