Super Hub flashing blue lights only

Had to turn off power today.  When turned back on only have blue flashing lights on my super hub and NOTHING seems to be able to get it to work.

Turning on / off with and without the reset being held in doesn't work.

Has this died and I need a new one?

VM test says to book an engineer - do I really need to do this or can I upgrade the hub and install myself?

in order - check all connections - do a reboot - leave off a few minutes - do a full reset - hold button a good 30 sec

if non of that helps wait for VM to pick up the thread and they should be able to look from their side and send a replacement if needed

you can order a replacement on line but its not foolproof and might start a new contract

Thought that might be the case.

Further question....who actually owns the hub and why if it is replaced should a new contract be invoked?

VM own all equipment - we rent it [i guess] as part of the contract

a new contract can depend on how you get the new one - replacing a faulty item should not start a new contract - upgrading from old equipment should also not start a new contract - demanding an upgrade to an existing hub does [sometimes]

but things are not always what they seem and some agents will do things wrong [to be generous] - the people on here should book a tech or just offer to send one - wait for them to pick the thread up
