Has anyone else had issues where anytime it rains your virgin media broadband goes off? Time and time again it happens, customer service take you through the same process over and over with nothing actually resolved, usually several hours later it comes back online, presumably when an engineer comes and drains the cab! Until the next time it rains anyway.
It's literally unusable for work from home.
Anyone else had similar?

I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your services when the weather gets bad.
Whenever there are multiple issues on the same cabinet, a further investigation would be done. If it was a case of rain flooding the cabinet then this would be replaced/repaired to avoid this happening again. Sometimes a cabinet replacement can take some time to arrange but rest assured the team would already be on the case.
