Slow wifi upstairs

Looking for advice. Im with VM for many years and wifi upstairs was always bad. My kids are teenagers now and they need better wifi( cable is better option) to play online. I know this is a issue with blocking wifi signal. So what should i do to boost that signal upstairs? I dont want to drag 25-30 meters of cables around the hous and try to connecting them to hub or maybe buy tp link and try connecting to my VM hub and then spread the cables upstaris. Thank ypu for any help

Is there a budget in mind?

You can put the HUB into modem mode, which means you can use your own wireless router or mesh system.
