Please can you advise if the following looks okay? I consistently get 80Mbps instead of 220 Mbps which i used to get approx 6 months ago.

Re: Slow Connection

A lot of your downstream channels are too low and some of the upstream are too high. This often indicates a cable fault to your premises or that you need to be moved to another tap on the street cabinet. Only a technician can rectify this, call customer services and report the fault.

Re: Slow Connection

Hi David,

Yes I spoke to someone who advised their supervisor would look into it and get back to me.

It is now miraculously running at 220Mbps again. Can you advise if anything has been done at your end? I suspect there are a lot of people in the same situation as myself who this thread could assist.

Many thanks

Mike

Re: Slow Connection

Hi Mike,

I can look into this for you but will have to discuss your account over PM after passing data protection,.

Can you advise me if you've ever been told of any outages in the local area during this period? We're you given a time frame for this call back?

Kindest regards,

Re: Slow Connection

Hi David,

Yes it’s fine for you to PM me.

I was advised I would get the call back before 1pm today.

Yes originally I was advised there was a fault in my area but that it had since been rectified - this seemed to be a fault with my connection specifically.

I have quite a lot of errors related to “No Ranging Response received” in the modems log if this could be related?

Many thanks

Mike

Re: Slow Connection

Let's take a closer look into this over the PM function.

Check out the purple envelope in the top right hand corner for a PM from me

Kindest regards,
