Should I just cancel now?!?!

I signed this contract a month ago, brand new VM available on our road! Saturday just gone I waited in for the engineer to connect us up …. He came but sadly the pre install team hadn’t been …. All day we waited (he kept in touch on text) - nothing from VM, just frustrating for me.

No word Sunday, nothing today after over an hour of calls from me trying to find out if I will actually be able to work from home this week when my sky contract finishes….. it is like pulling teeth, no answers, no commitment and above all, no service!
i had hoped for so much more and think maybe I should just cancel now and ask Sky for forgiveness! What a complete shambles this is.

usual advice is never to cancel any old ISP until VM is installed and running to your liking.

If it is then cancel - a few weeks overlap is preferable to loss of connectivity.

If you are not happy with the performance of the VM connection you have 14 days in which to cancel and pay no charges at all.

So either etend the old contract or get a monthly 4G/5G sim connection - there are good deals out there

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 1 WiFi, 1 on PA) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's. On 250Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

Thanks, I can’t be bothered to keep chasing them - will be cancelling tonight as yet again third reschedule has not happened!
