Set up old box

We received our new router today but unable to disconnect the older router cable from the wall. Anyone had this problem & got any tips?

You don't need to disconnect the cable from the wall, just the old router from the cable.

Re: Set up old box

hnm why not disconnect cable from the hub?, since might need a spanner if over tightened

Re: Set up old box

Thanks this did work but the cables are different - I assume just older version. I assume this won’t affect the performance?

Old version is screw in, new version is push in.

Supposed to be easiler for self install but makes no difference.

Re: Set up old box

The “push fit” connectors are designed to push over the thread of the old connection. Far simpler than messing with spanners.
