Hi I've just move flat and taken my old equipment with me .
Nothing is working and it's activation day today.
I have the picture attached of what's at the wall but the cable i have doesn't fit into the box on the wall.
Also do virgin media send out quick start kits only on day of activation?

That is a communal aerial outlet box. Virgin is either seperate from this, or a technician will be required to “route” your feed to one of the two “sat” outlets on that box via the equipment cabinet in the block.
The fittings on quick start are push on, & push over the screw type F connector outlets on the wall boxes.

Your service starts once the hub is activated. If you have further problems trying to connect call the
pre-installs team on 0800 052 1734 8AM- 9PM Monday - Friday or 8AM-6PM Saturday and Sunday
