Hi folks

i run my SH2 in modem mode, connecting to Orbis router.  I had to reset everything yesterday, now the modem won’t connect to the Orbis (or to my old Apple router). I’ve triple checked and it is in modem mode again.

Oddly enough it does connect to internet in router mode. I’m a bit of a numpty with these things so any simple guidance is very welcome!

When you are sure the SH2 is in modem mode, switch it off.  Power on the Orbi and make sure it is set to Automatic IP and leave it on.

Connect an ethernet cable from the WAN port  on the Orbi to an ethernet port on the SH2.  Note there should only be one ethernet cable attached to the SH2 in modem mode.

Once done, switch on the SH2 and this should work.

Thanks - tried that and still no internet connection.

Sorted now, thanks.  Not sure what the problem was but shutting down the VON and connecting through the Orbi router page not the App sorted the problem.
