Was on M125 broadband, introductory price of £25/mo, about to rise to £44/mo.
Called to cancel — robot offered me £32/mo.
First agent offered me M250 for £34/mo.
Second agent offered me M125 for £28/mo.
Arranged cancellation.
Outbound retentions called next day, offered me a VM+O2 18-month contract:
VM M125 @ £14/mo
O2 2GB sim @ £5/mo
I think the O2 sim might actually be 4GB because of Volt, not sure though.
I've heard VM retentions deals are by area, so this was in Lincolnshire.
