Hi all.
Not sure where to put this so apologies if this is in the wrong place.
Firstly, I don't have a problem with my services. Everything is running ok so I don't want to report a fault for myself. The problem is the hole in the road where the Virgin equipment is located.
For the past 6 months or so we've had a water leak in the road about 20 yards 'upstream' from the Virgin manhole and the water has been flowing along the Virgin ducts and out of the manhole. It's been reported to South Eastern Water for months so they are aware of it but have choosen not to repair it yet.
The problem is the water from the leak has now started to cause the road around the manhole to break up. The manhole is now loose - not just the cap but the surround as well - and it appears to be sinking in one corner.
If I was Virgin I'd get someone to come take a look pretty quickly before it collapses completely (then I'd sue South Eastern Water for negligence!).
(Word of advice for everyone - don't type collapsing manhole into Google - you won't get the resuts you were expecting! 😱)

Hi. I think this is being dealt with now as we had both Virginmedia and local council workmen looking at it yesterday. Thank you.
