Removing old wiring

Hi,

I no longer use virgin, and have the old wiring nailed right across the front of my house which looks very ugly and I wish to remove.

There is a single wire which comes up from the ground and goes into a brown box, then two wires which come out of it and then go around the house -can I unscrew these two wires from inside the box ? There's another white wire which goes straight through the wall which was for a second box but I can leave that where it is

Thanks for your help,

Re: Removing old wiring

Default selection of options and suggestions posted below from earlier in the week

https://community.virginmedia.com/t5/QuickStart-set-up-and/Removal-of-VM-external-cables/m-p/4871940...

If you want an official VM response, you may not get it on this forum as the VM forum team do not reply in 'Tech Chatter' that often.

Re: Removing old wiring

Good morning @dfield2000

Welcome to the forums and thank you for taking the time to post.

As goslow has explained unless there is a health and safety issue we would not look at removing these cabled.

I am sorry for any inconvenience that this has caused.

Kind regards,

Zak_M
