I have recently moved home and am not a Virgin customer, but have found external cabling going through my front garden - this is loose and a tripping hazard, and the cable isn't covered with any housing at the external wall, exposing bare wires. Can someone please remove this urgently?

Post up some photos of the offending cable and exposed connections. It helps the VM forum staff assess the issue and refer on for action if they can.
VM give mixed answers on doing this and much seems to depend on the response of the local 'area manager'. Problems where there is a genuine H&S issue though, do seem to get a more favourable response overall.

Can you post some pictures of this alleged hazard? That'll be a help for anyone to advise.

Thanks both for your help! Here's a photo of the point it connects to the external wall. Hopefully they will get back to me soon.

Exposed cable trailing across what looks like a pathway fits the criteria for a H&S problem IMHO.
Wait for the VM forum team to reply here. They normally do so within a few days.
