Hi,

Hope this message finds you well.

I came across this post as I have a similar issue. I have recently bought an old house complete with so many cables and VM boxes in every single room. I dont want these cables and boxes. Is it possible to get these removed at all?

Regards

Dins

Virgin will only normally turn out to deal with a Health & Safety issue with the cabinet drop if you are not a customer.

You can open the box on the front wall & disconnect the internal cable runs yourself. It is advisable to leave the drop line from the cabinet to the front wall intact if you or a subsequent occupier of the property may want a service from Virgin in future. Cutting off drop lines has led to properties being classed unserviceable due to the cut off cables causing blockages in the street ducts.

Hi @temp1,

Welcome to our Community Forums and thanks for your post.

Are you able to share some pictures of the cables concerned so we can raise this to the relevant teams if required?

Thanks
