Relocating External Brown Box

I need to relocated my external brown box and incoming cable location for essential house renovation work. I tried to book an engineer back in January, but am still being told no engineers are visiting properties due to COVID.

Is it the case that not a single engineer house visit is happening still, as I've been told? It does seem a bit odd as restrictions are easing and other companies are managing to service existing customers in a safe manner. Frustrating as the house has been unoccupied the entire time and I've been waiting nearly 4 months without any update on anticipated timelines.

Virginmedia staff are limited at present to new installations and fault clearance.  With the end of lockdown that should change.

Yes currently Virginmedia are only doing essential work like installs and faults anything that is non-essential is still on hold you can find the info at https://www.virginmedia.com/help/coronavirus-update
