Refer a friend not showing?

So I signed up via my friends ‘refer a friend’ email and everything was confirmed on screen fine.

However it is not showing on my contract. I literally signed up as soon as I got the referral email from my friend/Virgin but nothing is showing on my account. I sent a message via the online chat and also did not receive any response as yet.

Can someone please look into this and get this back to me please? 🙂

Hi David 

just had a response off my friend and he is saying he hasn’t received anything either?

can you advise? It appears to be a bit rife on the forums with similar issues in regards to friend referrals?

Hi Katie, Yes I did. When I went through the process (followed the link in the email) and added my package to my basket it showed the ‘refer a friend’ had been applied. However, the contract that I had to electronically sign made no reference to it - I assumed this was because it was an introductory thing and therefore did not constitute a true part of the contract. I have in my inbox the reference detail from my friend who referred me, and the timings of that email precede my signing up with Virgin - I just can’t see why it hasn’t been converted into my account?

We need to make sure that the link between you and your friend's account are made so our system  sees it. 

 

Can you confirm that the process contained in this link was followed?
