Red light permanetly on hub

The red light on hub is on all the time. I have tried rebooting but still the same. it is in a ventilated area and not in sunlight and appears to be working ok and no issues were found when tested. Can I get an engineer around to check it or swap it out as I am reading online that this could be an overheating thing and I do not want to risk a fire.

I do not work for VM. My services: HD TV on VIP (+ Sky Sports & Movies & BT sport), x3 V6 boxes (1 wired, 2 on WiFi) Hub5 in modem mode with Apple Airport Extreme Router +2 Airport Express's & TP-Link Archer C64 WAP. On Volt 350Mbps, Talk Anytime Phone, x2 Mobile SIM only iPhones.

We had the same problem and they came yesterday and fitted a new hub. It is an overheating problem.

I had my router swapped out this afternoon, so I am pleased with that. Shout out to the engineer who came today, he was fantastic 🙂
