I recently cancelled my mum's tv package at her request (she has dementia) but then asked for it back as she can't work the tv remote but can the vm one, I have been told activation willbe 24 to48 hours why does it take so long??
Once an account has been cancelled and closed VM need to wait for the systems to update and then create a new account. This is processed by a back office team.
