We recently received our router and cables. We do not have an internal VM box to plug the round ended cable into. We tried plugging the other cable (Ethernet?) into a wall socket but the router didn’t work. Tried the virtual assistant but it didn’t prove helpful. Can anyone help please? Need broadband asap!

You can also check for a loose cable as not all properties have a socket. Look outside for a brown or grey VM box on the wall and trace the cable to the inside. If it is a loose cable only, you will need one of these to connect the Quickstart cable. https://www.diy.com/departments/slx-f-type-satellite-cable-coupler/5028422001905_BQ.prd
Try calling the pre-installs team on 0800 052 1734 8AM- 9PM Monday - Friday or 8AM-6PM Saturday and Sunday and explain you need a manned install if you can't find a cable.

Thanks for your message. I’m really frustrated that Virgin are quick to sign people up but don’t make it easy to install. Very frustrating.

Unfortunately previous owners/renters often remove the VM connection and VM do not know about it.
