We have just received our virgin box and was told we shouldn't have any issues installing it. When we checked the cable coming in from outside it doesn't seem to be able to connect the wall part of the broadband wire to it so we are unsure how to connect it.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. Sounds like you'll need a manned engineer conversion. Please do not buy your own kit for this. I've not been able to locate your system from the forum details. Have you called the team and booked this in? Let me know if not and I will assist further.
