I'm a virgin media customer and have recently moved. Unfortunately they can't get an engineer to me for a week, but I need to work from home. I can plug the router in to the cable from the wall (telewest socket), but the router just flashes green. The manual says this is when there isn't a connection to the wall socket. Is this due to the switch over date from virgin being in a week so it isn't activated, or is it not as simple as plugging in to a cable that fits?
