Hi folks, noticed my internet can be a bit laggy at times. Found my power levels seem slightly on the high side.

Ill post below my logs.

Any advice

Cheers

It is worth calling 0800 561 0061 to see if there is a known fault.

The downstream signals are 50% above the normal maximums.

Unless a 10dB attenuator has gone AWOL from your cable to the Hub, this looks like Mr Fingers moved your connection to a higher power tap in the street cabinet and that has taken the signal well above acceptable levels.

Alessandro Volta

A lot more than 50% high. It's a logarithmic scale.

My name is NOT Alessandro. That's just a tag Virginmedia sticks on some contributors. Please ignore it.

Either Matthew_ML does not understand the DOCSIS power standards or he urgently needs an appointment at Specsavers !

Just thought id update everyone. It seems there was an attenuator missing from my line, re wired everything and now within specs 🙂

Thanks for your help and advice.
