Postcode Checker - can't find address but should be able serviceable

I've been eagerly awaiting virgin media coming to my area with the equipment installed over the past few weeks. For some reason the postcode checker misses about 15 houses from my postcode area when trying to sign up yet houses further up and down the road are showing as active. My house should definitely have access as I watched the engineer install the equipment on the telegraph pole at the end of the driveway.  Does anyone know how I can sign up when the website does not recognise my house exists in a postcode area?
