Post RS Errors

Hi,

Just looking for help regarding some Post RS Errors I am seeing, I have been trying to diagnose some connectivity issues and from my understanding these are an indication of an actual problem?

Re: Post RS Errors

Reboot your router to reset the values to zero, wait a few hours and then check. A lot of post-RS errors are historic and don't actually confirm any current faults you may have.

Hi CableNinja,

Thank you for your post.

Sorry to hear you've been having issues here. Can I ask how everything is at the moment?

Cheers.

Re: Post RS Errors

Those errors are too high for such a short period. My opinion is that you either have a noise problem in your area or need a technician to take a look. Respond to @Ryan_N and see what they recommend. /

Re: Post RS Errors

Hi Ryan,

Currently the internet is usable however there are occasional/intermittent issues that I have been trying to diagnose (which I why I started paying attention to these errors). I mainly see issues with my work VPN connection, which is what lead to this latest round of troubleshooting. I did have an engineer come round many months ago now to remove an unused TV signal splitter that he said was causing some noise, but I can't say I have noticed a difference one way or the other from this.

I am currently using the Super Hub in router mode as this problem seems worse when using it in modem mode with my own router.

Cheers

Ben
