Good morning ๐
I recently received my router package (Thurs 27th Oct) all was ok with that.
The problem is with the existing equipment in the house, it was clearly installed some years ago and not fit for purpose, it's hanging off the wall and I think it's a Tv/media connection rather than a 'broadband connection?!
I've just bought the house and didn't realise any of this in the first instance, it's only when I came to connect the equipment that I realised it wasn't fit for purpose!
How do I get a new connection box installed?
Thanks everyone ๐๐

A photo would help with identification, if you would like to post one.
Older sockets are from an era when Cable TV/FM radio were the only services carried on the cable. It is now dual purpose & carries both TV and Broadband traffic (FM radio was dropped at digital switchover). So chances are you do have the right cable, & can connect temporarily until a technician can come & tidy up.
My installation is from a 1993 original build & still works perfectly.

Hey Annette1966, thank you for reaching out and a warm welcome to the community, I am sorry you are having some install issues.
I can see you have been speaking to our team about this recently, did they manage to get this resolve for you? Thanks
