Piggy back Connection

Hi we officially have no virgin connection but our neighbours do have with whom we share back gardens. Could Virgin simply bring the cable the 5-10m distance from my neighbours garden through ours and to our home?

Re: Piggy back Connection

Hi,

It is possible but unlikely as permissions would be needed if going over someone else's land. We don't normally like this as it can create problems in the future if property changes hands. Also if cables get damaged there could be charges which could lead to disputes.

Re: Piggy back Connection

For this to be possible we would need to have wayleave granted from your neighbour. This has been done before for VM customers.

Here is a couple of links which explain it in further detail.
