Paying to have Virgin Media connected

Virgin is not in my area, so I'm looking to put a request in to pay to have FTTP to my house.

However I cannot find any type of link, is this still possible?

thanks

Re: Paying to have Virgin Media connected

If it's not in your area, no.

If it were round the corner then the company is open to customers paying for connections, but as rough indication distances over about 150 metres won't be technically possible without addional amplification (££££) and if under pavement you're looking at costs in the region of £150 per metre from the existing network.

If you want to pay for connection, ring round Openreach suppliers and see if any will quote you for FFTP On Demand, although you should anticipate eye-watering estimates.
