Partial Service / Lost MDD / No Ranging response / etc
So have now had connection going on for 3 years and once initial 3 months fighting to get correct Docsis config applied service has been standard affair of sometimes good other times not so good.
Constantly could see "No Ranging response", "DHCP rebind warning", "SYNC timing syncronisation failure" etc...but was previously told these are normal and service on the whole wasn't too bad. Recently the service has been poor with lots of dropouts, vpn / direct access connection getting reset for work access and in the last 2 weeks very poor when trying to view Youtube quiz (virtual pub quiz) and use online meeting apps to compete against family members...again this was ok but not brilliant before.
Having reviewed posts on this forum, i can see there are possibly some issues with my connection including physical cabling between property and Virgin core network.
I have checked cables connected to Hub, and have 2 attenuaters fitted (6dbs & 3dbs). Issue affects wired and wireless with network speed reaching as low as 0.3Mbps rather than the 108Mbps expected.

The problematic downstream channel 12 is now OK. All downstream channel power levels are up, higher than I expected but within tolerance. Curiously you now have five rather than the previous four upstream channels but their power levels are a bit lower (good). I suggest that leave things the way they are and come back if you have a problem again.
