Outside cable trip hazard

Hi,

the Virgin Media cable outside my house in the street is quite loose and may be trip hazard for those who walk past. In addition anyone could damage it voluntarily or not.

is it something Virgin can arrange? The other houses in the street do not appear to have long cables that literally hangs out like this.
