Afternoon All,
For the last 4 or so weeks (yes, weeks!) My broadband connection will drop out just whenever it feels like it. I have already had a new router and x2 "network" engineer visits. I was told that rain had corroded cables outside the house where all the customers were fed from and these where replaced. However the issue still happens . . . any ideas?
when i check the router logs I see :
warning : DBC-REQ Mismatch Between Calculated Value for P1.6hi Compared to CCAP Provided Value
Critical : SYNC Timing Synchronization failure - Failed to acquire QAM/QPSK symbol timing
critical : Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 time out
over and over and over.
can anyone help?

Hi @RobMcN84,
Thanks for your post, and a warm welcome to our Community Forums.
I'm sorry to hear you're facing problems with intermittence on your connection. I've taken a look on our side, and can see you spoke with our team, and had a Technician out to take a look at things.
I can see you spoke with our team shortly after the visit, and confirmed the issue has been resolved - how are things looking since your post?
Cheers,

Hi all,
Now repaired.......I hope.
I was told this was caused by an upgrade further upstream which then inturn had an increase in signal power which was causing issues with the router.
Cheers,
Rob
