One more self starter without a wall connection here.

Looks like I'm the.third guy over the last two days who's in the same situation - I was sold a self starter kit only to find out that there's no 'Virgin' box in my newly rented flat. Now trying to call that number 0345 454 1111 only to have my calls dropped.

I have read previous answers and understand there's very little I can do other than keep calling and hope that someone takes the call someday. But, if there's a chance someone finds out how to get attention from Virgin - please share the info.

PS. This all is just weird. 'Fantastic' service at its finest.

UPD: I finally was able to get through to the operator. Had engineer's visit booked. So, now it all looks much better. Will be hoping all problems are solved with that visit.

Self install kits are only provided if VM was in use by previous owners.

What happens between then and now (Wall sockets removed for example) is out of VM's control.
