Old virgin wall mount

Hi all,

I'm moving house and I've got the current set up in my new flat.

As you can see, I've got an old wall mount and I believe a telephone line square box at the bottom with a some sort of splitter to the right.

One splitter leads to a cut wire and the other one leads to a cablecon 4.9 end.

The cablecon 4.9 end is flat with a hole.

When my quick start setup comes this week what should I do with the broadband coxial wire?

Should I:

1) plug into the cablecon 4.9 end? Would that work?

2) unscrew the old wall mount and unplug the old wire and plug in the coxial wire. Does that work?

3) another suggestion?

Thanks

Re: Old virgin wall mount

2) remove the cable shown in the top yellow circle, discard all cable, insert cable for the QuickStart kit into the white box where you removed the cable.
