Nothing But A Yellow Light

I received my Virgin hub today and have set it all up.
I then received a text saying the signal had been sent to my house and I phoned the number to activate my account.

Unfortunately my hub just has a constant yellow error light.
I have followed all the troubleshooting steps online with no fix, eventually they just send me here.

Since I have also been on hold with Virgin’s contact centre for 25 mins I thought I would try here as well.

i assume you mean the base light - it can be various colours - but yellow/white means its working correctly afaik

what have you tried to connect to the hub and what results do you get

if possible log into hub3 - 192.168.0.1 [or 192.168.100.1 if in modem mode] - DON'T SIGN IN, click - click router status [centre of screen] - and post the downstream and upstream figures - to see those press on the grey buttons/boxes labelled - upstream - downstream
