Hello,

My landlord has just Telewest Broadband wall socket for router. I have received my Broadband kit but I couldn’t connect with it. How can I get Virgin Media wall socket?

 Thank you

Re: No wall socket

Telewest was merged with NTL that then rebranded as Virgin Media.

The coax outlet you connect to is in your second picture. Might be a good idea to try & remove the paint from the screw thread before you plug in, as I can see this causing issues.

Re: No wall socket

Good afternoon @Saliyeva

Welcome to the forums and thank you for taking the time to post,

So that I can advise on this further, are you able to confirm if you have managed to get this resolved?

Kind regards,

Re: No wall socket

You will have to request a manned install as it will require a coax point to be installed at the new location

Re: No wall socket

Are there extra long cables available that I can just run to the virgin hub in my front room from the bedroom points?

Re: No wall socket

Hi Guybead,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the community.

As advised by nodrogd it will require an engineer visit.

If you would like this to be arranged we can set this up for you.

Would you like us to action this?

^Martin
