I ordered the QuickStart package for my new property on the advice of virgin as they said my flat was set up for virgin QuickStart but now I am here there is no wall socket I can find. There are several other provider sockets (openreach etc) but nothing for virgin. There is one lead coming in from outside the flat with no connector on the end, not sure if this is virgin related and wouldn’t know what to do with it if it is. Can’t seem to find an option to book an engineer installation now either. Ordered QuickStart weeks ago and would have booked installation if I’d been told I needed it as I need internet working ASAP for my job. Any advice much appreciated!
if allowed you to order a quick start then the house has had VM int he past. The cabling and socket shouldn't be removed but if someone that lived there has removed it you'll need to book an engineer to install one.
VM had no way of knowing this.
Call up and book an install or wait here a few days and staff here can arrange one for you
